Not a pretty day for European stocks

Closing changes for the main European bourses:

  • German DAX -2.5%
  • Italy MIB -3.2%
  • French CAC -2.6%
  • Spain IBEX -1.7%
  • UK FTSE -2.3%
Shares were flattish for the week heading into Friday.
